OLOHANA’S POLYNESIAN DANCE
ABOUT OUR OHANA
Our director, Olohana Strong, is a born native of the island of Samoa. Olohana's Polynesian Dance began in 2019. We embrace the cultures of Hawaii, Samoa, New Zealand, Tonga, Tahiti and Fiji!
Our mission is simple: we strive to spread love and kindness in a world so divided through Aloha Spirit! We empower our community to step into the true authentic person they were created to be. Dance is a unique opportunity to embrace the culture through appreciating the history, exercising tradition, and admiring the powerful art of Polynesian dance.
All of our classes are available at the Washington Township Recreation Center in Centerville, Ohio.

Please note: We spend our winters in Hawaii and we do not offer classes during the winter season.
KIDS PERFORMANCE HULA DANCE
Spring Session 2024:

5:30pm - 6:15pm
Must complete Kids Beginner Hula Dance to register for this class. Audition is then required. Please contact instructor Olohana Strong 937-581-4503. This class will continue to advance your hula skills. Learn & perform full dance routines of Polynesian dance from the South Pacific islands. Our performances are dance recitals and events that give back to our community and to spread Aloha Spirit.

Join us to learn warrior dances of the South Pacific such as the Maori Haka and Maori Poi Balls from New Zealand, the Samoan Siva Tau and more! Student is required to complete Beginner Hula prior to registering for this class. Advance your hula skills by diving deeper into critiquing your form in the art of hula dance. You will experience a higher level of dance routines as you continue to grow in hula.
